Easy: I have a duty to protect life. My life, my family’s lives, innocent bystanders’ lives – any lives I can save from evil, I can and will draw my gun and shoot to protect.
It’s my duty, and one I take very seriously.
Grabbers may call us names and say we’re obsessed with guns, live in fear and are compensating for something, but consider this: would we spend time at the range and pay to take classes to train ourselves if we were fearful? We train to prepare and carry to be confident that we can defend life if someone tries to take it from us or someone we love.
