Arizona Sheriff Has a Powerful Message for his County... and you

Arizona’s Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu has always been an outspoken supporter of the Second Amendment and his Friday appearance on the Fox News program “Your World” was no exception.

Following the terrorist attack in Orlando, FL, the good sheriff said he’s been urging people in his charge to arm themselves for their protection and to protect their loved ones:

“I’ve said to citizens in my county ‘Don’t be victims,’” Babeu said. “Get training, protect yourself, protect your family because there is not a cop on every street corner and every restaurant.”

Sheriff Babeu also spoke passionately about the Second Amendment being even more relevant today than when it was written.

“Never did we ever imagine that we would require airline pilots to be concerned with other than flying the aircraft and now every time I fly armed, I have to report in to the pilots and they say, ‘Sheriff, I’m armed as well,’” Babeu said. “And thank God for that because we’re not going to be victims.”
