Surveillance video shows how a team of robbers punched a makeshift drive-thru of the Sunshine State Armory gun store Sunday night and smashed display cases to make off with an undetermined cache of firearms and ammunition.
The Zephyrhills, Florida Police Department released surveillance footage of the robbery on Monday, showing the pick-up truck barreling through the front of the Sunshine State Armory at around 2 a.m. Sunday.
At least three suspects stole an “unknown amount of firearms and ammunition,” before fleeing the scene, the department said.
Police said they’ve located Dodge Ram used in the robbery, reporting the vehicle had been burned and abandoned in a wooded area nearby.
