Of all the responses to Trump’s earlier announcement of his decision to ban transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military, this one absolutely takes the cake!
Annie Lowrey, an economic policy writer for The Atlantic, tweeted a story of an alleged transgender Navy SEAL who had earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his role in the unit that took out Osama bin Laden:
