Bearing Arms readers have made Daily News Writer Somehow Survives Trauma Of Firing America’s Most Popular Rifle quite popular. There is apparently something about watching a “man” deconstructing his manhood, on purpose, in public that is compelling, rather like a particularly gory car accident: you just can’t tear your eyes away. In exposing the all-too-common behaviors and attitudes of yet another anti-liberty reporter, I noted that the gun dealer that allowed Gersh Kuntzman to fire an AR-15 would have some explaining to do, and so he has:
I have no reason to believe that Frank Stelmach is dissembling about his conversation with Kuntzman, about Kuntzman’s misrepresentation of that conversation, and about his Second Amendment beliefs and practices, but every reason to believe that Kuntzman would misrepresent Stelmach in pursuit of the media/progressive anti-gun narrative.
In any case, this is certainly a worthwhile lesson for any gun dealer or supporter of the Constitution solicited by the media for a story: always videotape every word and action. There is always a chance that a reporter might behave objectively, and might even be persuaded to the side of liberty, but by all means, always make your own video recording.
Bearing Arms will closely monitor this situation and report on any change in Mr. Kuntzman’s fragile physical and mental condition, and, of course, any change in his indeterminate masculinity. It’s the least we can do.
