From 1995 to 2009, “MADtv” was on broadcast live on Fox from Los Angeles against NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.” Of all the skits and characters from the show, the ones best remembered are the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer parodies, such as “The Reinfather,” a riff on “The Godfather.”

This is the “Apocalypse Now” parody: “A Pack of Grits Now,” where Rudolph woken up from an egg nog binge in his hotel room and told to terminate Santa Claus’ command “with extreme prejudice.”
