ATW: Farmer shoots, kills armed intruder after receiving phone call from his wife

A farmer from North Carolina bravely protected his wife and his home from armed men after he received a suspicious phone call from her Monday morning and rushed home from his chicken farm in Lumberton to check on her.

Sanford Hardin was working when his wife called to tell him she had noticed a suspicious vehicle parked outside of their home, reports The Blaze. The husband reportedly hurried home to find a man sleeping in a parked car in front of their house. When he approached the napping driver and tapped on the window, the man sped away.
