After the city of Bridgeport was sued by the Connecticut Citizens Defense League over delays in accepting gun permit applications (a permit is required before anyone can legally possess a handgun in the state), police officials suddenly discovered that they could make some changes that will result in a much speedier application process. As Cam points out, this type of bureaucratic B.S. shouldn't be allowed to stand between you and your civil rights.
