Refuse to be a Victim
The single most important step toward ensuring your own safety is developing and maintaining a personal safety strategy. And while people most often associate the NRA with firearms, our Refuse To Be A Victim® program teaches the tips and techniques needed to be alerted to dangerous situations and to avoid becoming a victim. These seminars not only offer training and education to help men and women alike remain vigilant, protected and prepared in public, the skills taught in Refuse To Be A Victim seminars can also help participants prepare for the threat of domestic violence by covering topics including self-defense training, personal defense devices, mental preparedness and much more.
That’s why we’re proud to work with Bearing Arms on this campaign to bring more awareness to these resources during Domestic Violence Awareness month. Because whether you choose to carry a firearm or not, the NRA wants everyone to know the most basic fundamentals of self-defense to ensure they are prepared to protect themselves if they have to.
