If Trump's 'Hateful' Rhetoric Is Responsible For El Paso, Who Is To Blame For Dayton?

The media has been in full-blown anti-Trump mode of late, especially in the wake of El Paso. The killer’s anti-immigrant thinking was allegedly laid bare in a manifesto that the left has latched onto in an effort to smear Trump with allegations that he instigated the shooting, while at the same time pretending he’s made anti-gun comments that never happened.

While the media has taken Trump’s anti-illegal immigration rhetoric to automatically mean Hispanic–this despite the huge number of non-Hispanic illegals in this country–and used that to tar the president, I can’t help but wonder who they’re going to blame for Dayton.

After all, according to Heavy.com, the killer there was a rabid leftist.

[Name Redacted to minimize the jackwagon’s 15 minutes of fame], the Dayton, Ohio mass shooter, was a self-described “leftist,” who wrote that he would happily vote for Democrat Elizabeth Warren, praised Satan, was upset about the 2016 presidential election results, and added, “I want socialism, and i’ll not wait for the idiots to finally come round to understanding.”

Betts’ Twitter profile read, “he/him / anime fan / metalhead / leftist / i’m going to hell and i’m not coming back.” One tweet on his page read, “Off to Midnight Mass. At least the songs are good. #athiestsonchristmas.” The page handle? I am the spookster. On one selfie, he included the hashtags, “#selfie4satan #HailSatan @SatanTweeting.” On the date of Republican Sen. John McCain’s death, he wrote, “F*ck John McCain.” He also liked tweets referencing the El Paso mass shooting in the hours before Dayton.

Twitter has now suspended the Twitter page, removing it. It was up for several hours after the mass shooting.

On Nov. 2, 2018, he wrote: “Vote blue for gods sake.”

The killer also reportedly said, “This is America: Guns on every corner, guns in every house, no freedom but that to kill” as well as touting his willingness to back Elizabeth Warren. In response to a tweet showing Warren and Sen. Kamala Harris and suggesting the two as co-presidents, the killer replied, “Nahh, but only cuz Harris is a cop – Warren I’d happily vote for.”

In other words, the Dayton killer was clearly a creature of the left.

Where are the media voices decrying leftist ideology and blaming people like Warren, Harris, Sen. Cory Booker, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, or any other left-leaning politician for their rhetoric?

*crickets*

Yeah, that’s what I thought.

Fantasy author and gun nut Larry Correia offered this up last night/early this morning, and I think it’s something we all would do well to remember.

Language warning for those who need it.

I agree with Larry. There’s no cause so noble that it won’t attract fuggheads, and there’s crazy in every corner of every cause.

The primary difference, as I see it, is that we can look at the alleged El Paso killer and acknowledge that the racism that appears to have motivated him is horribly, horribly wrong. There’s nothing in that kind of thinking that has any place in any society, be it civilized or other. We’re more than willing to acknowledge that.

Yet the left? They far too often celebrate people who try to kill for the cause.

Further, I’m not hearing anyone decrying the Dayton killer’s ideology or anything of the sort. Double standard much?

Of course, when you consider that this may have more to do with trying to hammer the president into supporting gun control, it makes a weird kind of sense. Not to get too tinfoil hat here, but why else broadcast one killer’s ideology but not the other?
