Memphis Moves to Defy Constitution, State Law

The Memphis City Council is set to rollout a referendum on gun control that could go before the city's voters in 2024 that includes a ban on the sale of so-called assault weapons; an idea that's not only a violation of our fundamental rights (and Tennessee's firearm preemption law), but is likely to lead to an increase in sales of the very guns lawmakers want to ban.
