Donald Trump has officially thrown his at into the 2024 ring, kicking off the 2024 campaign cycle before 2022 is officially over. Will that have an impact on the Georgia runoff? I tend to doubt it. After all, almost everyone thought he’d do so at some point, so whether it’s pre-Georgia runoff or in the new year is kind of a moot point. In my opinion it’s Trump himself who’s the issue, not the timing of his candidacy, but I’m very curious to hear what our VIP Gold members and Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey have to say about the former president officially declaring a third run at the White House, and I’ll be sharing what I found to be a very revealing (if purely anecdotal) piece of evidence that suggests even some hardcore supporters of the former president are now convinced that he’s an election liability.
