PA Bar Owner Thwarts Three Robbers

An attempted robbery backfired early Sunday morning in Philadelphia when a bar owner pulled out his own weapon. ABC reported that three armed men followed the bar owner home shortly after he had closed the bar for the night. They tried to rob his, but their plan failed when the owner pulled out his own handgun. He opened fire on the would-be thieves, hitting one of the suspects in the arm. The other two men immediately fled the scene. The bar owner was not hurt and had a permit to carry the gun, while the suspect remains in the hospital in critical condition.
