Gas Station Attendants Stop Armed Robbery

A Sunoco Gas Station has surveillance footage that shows a hooded suspect walking up to the clerk and writing on a piece of paper. The sheet said “I need money. Don’t make me shoot”. The clerk proceeded to trigger a silent alarm that alerted other employees who were in the back room. One employee went to grab a gun and pointed it at the robber. The suspect immediately attempted to flee but was retrained by other employees.

The clerk called 911 and requested police assistance, as the suspect was continuing to resist. Police arrested the burglar inside the store and said the employees acted in self-defense.
