Natalie Foster: Defeating Your Fear of Guns

This video reminds me of the old Cherokee fable about the two wolves.

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, “My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.

“One is Evil – It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

“The other is Good – It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

Natalie Foster explains in this video why a fear of guns is only a fear of the unknown, essentially feeding that evil wolf.

If you don’t know much about guns and they frighten you and you continue feed the fear by ingesting outlandish claims from the media and various gun control groups, then that fear will grow.

If you find the shooters among your family and group of friends and go to a range and get responsible instruction from people who actually know firearms, you’ll discover that they are simply an inanimate object that you control… and used responsibly, they are a great deal of fun!
