In 2014, Jesse Ventura sued the estate of Chris Kyle, or the “American Sniper” as he’s more commonly known, over a passage in Kyle’s book that Ventura believed was defamatory towards him. Ventura won a $1.8 million award, but yesterday an appeals court reversed this and ordered a new trial.
This is great news as Ventura has disrespected our veterans several times.
I hate to say it but Id be a conscientious objector today. I don’t believe that the military fights for our freedom. http://t.co/VucoqFFdlD

Kyle is one of the deadliest snipers in US history with a total of 255 confirmed kills.
The passage in question was about a supposed bar fight between the two of them in 2006 after Ventura reportedly made a negative remark about the Navy SEAL’s.
