A dramatic helmet-cam video shot by a motorcycle rider in Brazil shows the moment that bikejackers (if that wasn’t a word before, it is now) intercept him at a crowded intersection and relieve of his ride at gunpoint.
The “victory” for the criminals is short-lived, however: when you watch the video, keep your eye out for that little black car to the left of the frame in the screen capture below.
Why is this Brazilian crime relevant to a Second Amendment site in the United States? It’s quite simple, actually: it highlights the fact that violent crime happens quickly and with little or no warning. Be cognizant of your surroundings, and keep in mind that criminals rely on speed and surprise as much as they do the threat of force.
