Mark Dice claims to be a subscriber of almost every conspiracy theory possible, but there are times—such as his frequent petition stunts—which make me to wonder if he is simply attempting to troll the widespread unthinkingness (if that isn’t a word, it should be) of our modern culture.
In the video above (which we showed at the end of “Why do you need an assault rifle?” Why, to kill tyrants, of course), Dice pretends to be collecting signatures for the repeal of the Second Amendment.
But Dice goes far beyond simply asking for repeal, and frankly tells people that the petition calls for gun owners to be shoved into concentration camps, or even executed in genocides. He’s intentionally attempting to be as absurd as possible… and still, all in the name of “pubic safety,” these people are willing to put their names on a petition calling for genocide. Dice himself is stunned.
It’s chilling to see what people are willing to endorse is our “free” society, and eerily echos a much older interview with Larry Grathwohl, a man I’ve talked to and very much respect. Grathwohl had infiltrated the unreconstructed communists of the Weather Underground, a domestic terrorist group active from the 1960s-early 1980s led by Barack Obama’s mentors, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn.
Don’t worry kids.
They tell me it can’t happen here.
