Chris Kyle was the larger-than-life Navy SEAL who was the deadliest sniper in American history. Ironically Kyle died not at war, but in the United States, selflessly attempting to help a fellow serviceman through his PTSD.
Bradly Cooper is portraying Kyle in American Sniper a movie directed by Clint Eastwood, who knows something about portraying hard men as both an actor and a director.
So far, the fan reaction to the movie’s first trailer is near giddy with anticipation, though some are worried that trying to tell Kyle’s story through a devoutly anti-American, anti-war Hollywood is going to end up smearing Kyle in some way.
Based on what this one little clip shows, do you think Eastwood will get Kyle’s story right?
