The rifle’s hand guard started smoking roughly halfway through, and then burst into flames, and just kept running.

Surprising no one, the more robust and higher quality Vepr ran much longer than the low-quality WASR-10 they ran in a previous test, and just barely outran an AR-15 they’d burned out previously.
