Ultimate AK Meltdown: Reloaded!

Tim from the Military Arms Channel brought IraqVeteran8888 a full-auto Vepr (a high-end AKM built off the RPK light machine gun’s receiver and barrel) to see how many rounds it could fire before failing.

The answer? More than you could carry…

… and long after it is too hot for you to hold.

The rifle’s hand guard started smoking roughly halfway through, and then burst into flames, and just kept running.

Surprising no one, the more robust and higher quality Vepr ran much longer than the low-quality WASR-10 they ran in a previous test, and just barely outran an AR-15 they’d burned out previously.
