Update: The shooting appears to be a murder-suicide in which the suspect attacked and killed a teacher in a classroom, and then committed suicide. It is not yet known if the students were targeted, or if their injuries were even gunshot wounds. Both students have been transported to area hospitals. Scanner traffic suggests one student has a head wound, and the other has a chest wound, but is talking.
It will be very interesting to see what safety protocols the school had in place, and if they did, how the suspect defeated those protocols.
Update: Scanner traffic suggests the shooter was the husband of the victim.
Update: One of the young victims, an eight-year-old boy, has died. A second student remains in critical condition.
