If our our goal is to to actually change the minds of anti-gunner instead of just forcing them back into a defensive posture, there are certain techniques you can use to make them start questioning their views. As the data, history, and facts on our side, the best thing we can do is to get them questioning themselves, then give them a way to gracefully exit the conversation so that they can find the answers that will inevitably lead them to our view. It isn’t something that will happen overnight, but such a conversion is typically a lifelong one.
