98-year-old with semi-automatic shotgun bags another deer

Katie Watson just bagged her first deer of the season last Friday. That isn’t all that impressive, until you discover that it was the 44th deer she’s dropped with her trust Browning Auto-5 12 gauge since she turned 80.

She’s 98 years old, and can hold her own against those half her age when it comes to hunting.

Katie Watson shot her first rabbit at 10, and 88 years later, she’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Her older brother let her shoot a rabbit for the first time all those years ago and she was bitten by the hunting bug.

Watson grew up hunting rabbit, quail, turkey and just about any wild game she could get in her sights.

Watson is quite proud of the fact that she’s tagged 44 deer … since she turned 80.
