Why Firearm Microstamping is Dangerous

NeverEnuffAmmo is talking more about the legal dangers of microstamping as a poltical tool for gun prohibition, but there is also some real concern that any force striking a case hard enough to imprint it with a unique and recognizable mark could set it up for potential case failure, particularly over time if the shooter reloads his spent brass.

Police and criminals, of course, don’t play by these rules, but microstamping laws was never about stopping the criminal use of guns in the first place.
