Gas Station Clerk Blasts St. Louis Armed Robber

There isn’t a lot of detail on this incident yet, but initial reports out of St. Louis make this sound like a classic case of a good guy with a gun taking down a bad guy with a gun.

Early Sunday morning a store clerk at a BP gas station shot and wounded an armed gunman attempting to rob the store. The incident occurred at 1:30 am in the 3000 block of south Grand.

Police say the clerk fired two shots at the gunman wounding him in both legs.

There’s no word on what kind of sandwich the armed robber had in his possession when he was shot, nor is there any word on his current condition.

As a technical matter, low shots  are typically the result of the shooter looking over the gun at his target and focusing on the target instead of the front sight.

Remember, kids: front sight, press.
