Richard Mann was one of the gun writers invited out to Gunsite for the introduction of the RM 380, the new compact carry pistol from Remington. He talked them into an impromptu reliability test, and it seemed to hold up well under far more continuous fire than you’ve ever expect from a pocket pistol. There was a dud primer (a solid strike, but no ignition of the powder) at round 142 that was no fault of the gun, but other than that, the little six shooter just kept chugging along.

Richard’s trigger fingers (on both hands) wore out at 200 rounds in less than six minutes.
The Firearm Blog has a solid first look at the new pistol.
We’ll be interested to get our hands on one at the NRA Annual Meetings later this week.
