THERE GOES THE NARRATIVE: Gang-Bangers Fired Shots At Anti-Democracy Activists in Portland

The men who opened fire on anti-democracy activists blocking traffic on a bridge in Portland (OR), injuring one, have been arrested. It isn’t going to help the narrative that the mainstream media is unsuccessfully trying to push that Trump supporters are the problem.

Portland police arrested two men in connection to a shooting that left a protester injured on the Morrison Bridge early Saturday morning, a police spokesman said.

Steffon Marquise Corothers and Shamar Xavier Hunter, both 18 years old, were charged with attempted murder and unlawful use of a weapon, police spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson said. Corothers was charged with one count of attempted murder. Hunter was charged with six counts of attempted murder.

Corothers and Hunter were two of four people detained early Saturday morning after an off-duty police officer saw them in a suspect vehicle from the shooting, Simpson said.

Police also found a Tec-9 semiautomatic pistol in the car.

Police believe Hunter, Corothers and the other people in the car are gang associates, Simpson said.

A video taken by one of the protestors—which included protestors and their supporters admitting they were too lazy to vote in last Tuesday’s Presidential elections—helped identify the suspect’s vehicle and captured the sound of the shots and the pandemonium afterward.

The protestor wounded in the incident suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. The injury was considered non-life-threatening. A protest medic (yes, that’s apparently a thing) provided first aid until Portland police and EMS could arrive, which they did in just minutes.

Continued mass protests against the outcome of a free and fair elections are an unique phenomena being held in Democrat-controlled cities who are hysterically insisting that Donald Trump’s election be overturned because they didn’t like the outcome where Trump dominated Clinton in the Electoral College vote (final projected: 306-232), and Clinton supporters in the media insist that she won the popular vote by large a margin.

While a popular fiction, a Clinton’s “victory” in the popular election isn’t real either, if all votes were counted.

Okay, let’s address this “Hillary might win the popular vote, isn’t that Electoral College situation just awful” thing head on.

No, it’s not awful.  It’s great, and it protects the importance of your vote.  It’s also uniquely American and demonstrates yet again the once-in-creation brilliance of the Founding Fathers.

First of all, she’s probably not going to win the actual number of votes cast.  She may win the number of votes counted, but not the votes cast.

States don’t count their absentee ballots unless the number of outstanding absentee ballots is larger than the state margin of difference.  If there is a margin of 1,000 votes counted and there are 1,300 absentee ballots outstanding, then the state tabulates those.  If the number of outstanding absentee ballots wouldn’t influence the election results, then the absentee ballots aren’t counted.

Who votes by absentee ballot?  Students overseas, the military, businesspeople on trips, etc.  The historical breakout for absentee ballots is about 67-33% Republican.

In other words, the estimated 7 million absentee ballots that were cast but not counted suggest that Trump didn’t just win the Electoral College in a landslide, he also crushed Clinton by more than four million votes in the popular vote as well, providing that the 7 million absentee ballots held to the traditional 67% GOP/33% Democrat split.

Hillary Clinton was simply a horrible candidate, and no amount of screaming, crying, and drum-circling is going to change that.
