Guess What New Handgun Beretta Is Bringing To Market?

I first got to paw over (but sadly, not fire) an APX prototype two years ago during a Beretta media event at Academi.

Beretta APX

The Beretta APX is modular, featuring a chassis system similar to the Sig Sauer P320, enabling users to swap-out different frame sizes to “make” full-size and compact pistols. Users could also change backstraps of these different frames to fit different hand sizes. In the free states, it will sport a 17-round magazine in 9mm, or a 15-round magazine in .40 S&W.

I think the APX will probably be a fine pistol, but I have to wonder what the company is going to be able to do to make it stand out in an increasingly crowded striker-fired, polymer-framed pistol market.
