The 41st annual Gun Rights Policy Conference is underway in Dallas, and you can watch the incredible lineup of speakers right here.
This year’s keynote speaker is the retired U.S. District Judge Roger T. Benitez, known affectionately as "Saint Benitez" by many Second Amendment advocates. Benitez served as a United States District Judge for the Southern District of California from 2004 until his retirement in April 2026, and is considered one of the most consequential judicial defenders of the Second Amendment in the post-Heller era. His adherence to constitutional principles is especially noted (and appreciated) because he was operating in an adverse environment, with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ready to challenge his decisions at every turn.
ATF Director Robert Cekada and general counsel Robert Leider, Tate Adamiak, Alan Beck (the lead attorney in Wolford), Dana Loesch, Mark Smith of Four Boxes Diner, Washington Gun Law's William Kirk, and Brandon Herrera are just a few of today's speakers. I'm honored to be kicking off GRPC with the first talk of the day at 9:15 AM Eastern Time, when I'll be speaking about the wave of gun control legislation that crashed down on Virginia gun owners this year.
