NJ Democratic Strategist Launches Campaign to #HuntRepublicans

Just when you think Democrats couldn’t get any more despicable, they pull a stunt like this.

Following the GOP Congressional shooting which left Representative Steve Scalise in critical condition and wounded four other people, the unity we saw between the two political parties at the Congressional Baseball Game quickly faded.

But any unity that may have remained was essentially murdered when New Jersey Democratic political strategist James Devine launched his hashtag campaign calling for citizens to #HuntRepublicans and #HuntRepublicanCongressmen.

“We are in a war with selfish, foolish & narcissistic rich people,” Devine posted on Twitter. “Why is it a shock when things turn violent? #HuntRepublicanCongressmen.”

Devine continued his social media campaign, posting “If you want to invite a class war, then you have to expect people to fight back at some point.” on his Facebook page.

Despite receiving swift condemnation for his hate-filled campaign, the self-described “passionate progressive Democrat” doubled down on his agenda, posting on Facebook that he has “little sympathy” for Scalise because of his lack of support for gun control and blaming “GOP snowflakes” for his hate-filled hashtag on Twitter.

Devine is no stranger to controversy, according to his impressive rap sheet. Heat Street reports:

In 2014, Devine was convicted for shoplifting lettuce, protein powder, and hair conditioner.

And in 2015, state election officials charged the Democratic strategist with 23 separate election-law violations; the Election Law Enforcement Commission claimed he never reported nearly $79,000 in contributions and more than $70,000 in expenditures involving his Central Jersey Democratic Leadership Committee.

As for the inspiration for his#HuntRepublicans and #HuntRepublicanCongressmen campaign, facts have nothing to do with it.

Also, much like many gun control advocates, Devine is an avid supporter of the complete repeal of the Second Amendment:

So much for unity.
