Parents: we’ve all lost it at some point and with good reason.

From realizing how vulnerable they are when we take them home from the hospital as infants, watching them head off on the school bus for the first time, comforting them through sickness and challenges, hearing about their first broken heart, cringing at the sight of them driving off alone at 16, to feeling a stab of loneliness when you drop them off at college. There are no shortage of milestones and everyday occurrences that make us realize how much we would do to protect our children.

So for all you dads who teach your girls to shoot. Who instill in them the strength and courage to fight for themselves by any means necessary. For those of you who equip your daughters with the skill to stop any threat to her body.
