Simple Math: Big Robber + Tiny Woman x Armed America = Guns Saving Lives

Last week, we brought you the Guns Saving Lives story of Glendale, AZ resident Carolann Miracle, who bravely drew her own weapon as an armed robber held his gun to her head. Now, the petite 4′ 11″ armed dynamo who barely weighs 85 pounds, is speaking out.

“He stuck the gun to my neck and said, ‘It’s loaded, bitch, don’t move,’” Miracle told KNXV. ”I think he thought, ‘She’s a little girl. Maybe she doesn’t know how to use her weapon.’”

Miracle said she had just exited the Circle K gas station convenience store with family and was crossing the parking lot when a man later identified as Frank Taylor approached them. Taylor asked for a cigarette and a lighter, but when Miracle said she didn’t have either, Taylor pulled his gun on her and her sister.

With his gun pointed to her neck, Miracle drew on what her father, a Marine, had taught her and reacted quickly. “I dropped my soda, released my gun from my holster, cocked it and shot him. Then we ran the opposite way.”

Miracle said she didn’t know if anyone else in the parking lot was an accomplice of Taylor’s, and ran home to immediately report the incident to the police.

“I feel bad, I didn’t mean to kill him,” she said. “I feel bad for his mom. I feel bad because I just found out that he has a 1-week-old baby. I didn’t mean to do it, but I had to defend my sister and me.”

Well done, young lady – thats exactly why we carry here in America!
