Wisconsin Community Responds to Shooting by Addressing the Root Cause

One Wisconsin community is responding to a shooting at their local high school by addressing the root cause of the shooting.

Yeah, that happened.

The ordinance was enacted after it was discovered that the gunman who opened fire at students attending a prom dance at Shawano High School was bullied in school.

Local news channel Fox 11 ran a poll on their Facebook page asking people if they thought parents should be fined if it’s determined their children are involved in bullying and found 66% of respondents said yes, agreeing with the ordnance.

But what do you think? Should parents be fined if their child is bullying kids at school and do you think this move will cut down on school shootings?
