Aero pledges to support program on firearm safety for children for 2023

Aero Precision, the firearm maker known for their AR variant rifles, has committed to supporting a children’s firearm safety program for another year. Aero, who has sustained support of the Kids S.A.F.E. foundation for a number of years, has pledged a contribution even larger than last year. In a recent announcement, Derek LeBlanc, the founder of Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation; and the board of directors expressed their appreciation.

The Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation is grateful for a generous sponsorship from Aero Precision to support their program into this year and to help continue the important work to protect children from a firearms accident through proper education. To receive support from a firearm manufacturer is huge. They have invested in the future of our country by helping a kids firearm safety organization that is actively working to protect our country’s most valuable resource, our children.

Both LeBlanc and Aero have been in the pages of Bearing Arms recently. LeBlanc was pivotal in the introduction of a bill in Oregon which would allow important life-saving knowledge to get to first grade students in the state. At SHOT Show 2023 last month, Aero released a new competition model of their SOLUS line of bolt action rifles, which was reviewed a couple of weeks ago.

What’s Kids S.A.F.E. all about?

The Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation is a 501©3 nonprofit organization, based in Oregon. Since our founding, back in 2016, we have reached over 27,000 kids in 5 states and taught them lifesaving skills on what to do if they ever come across an unsecured firearm. The goal is to empower our youth to make good, safe, decisions if they are ever put in a dangerous situation.

According to the CDC’s statistics we lose on average 8-9 per day to unsecured firearm accident inside of the home. KSF is working diligently to try to prevent this through proper education. Support from the firearm industry is crucial to our success. We couldn’t do it without Aero Precisions continued support

It is the goal of the Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation to normalize the topic of kids firearm safety and to present the information in a positive manner. This broad approach to safety is for ALL kids, not just the ones with firearms inside of their homes. sponsors like the Aero Precision team is so important. Aero Precision are heroes to the next generation. ZERO firearm accidents is the only acceptable goal!!®

Grass roots organizations like the Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation are critical in both protecting our children and safeguarding the Second Amendment. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution to educating people and executing the preservation of our civil liberties, and Kids S.A.F.E. is a part of an important network of organizations working towards these noble goals.

Aero Precision and other companies that support the good work of the organizations doing the boots-on-the-ground work need to be commended. Without the generous donations and consistent dedication from companies that put their money where their mouth is, groups like the Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation would not be able to operate.

“Aero Precision is proud to support an organization directly focused on firearms safety and education for our youth,” Brian Deal, the VP of Marketing at Aero said. “The Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation has made a tremendous and positive impact on thousands of children’s lives,” Deal stated further, “and we are happy to continue supporting their mission.”

2023 has already been an exciting year for the Second Amendment and seeing such positive activity from companies and organizations is great. What kind of new and exciting things will Kids S.A.F.E. bring in the New Year? Hard to tell. The organization always seems to be leveling up at every turn.
