Whether you’re Christian, Jewish, Atheist, it’s now the season for gift giving. If you’ve got a gun person to buy for, we’ve got plenty of gift ideas for you this year. If you’re the gun person, then here are our suggestions for your gift list this holiday season.
First, let’s note the obvious things. Magazines and ammo are obvious and always welcome. However, they’re weapon specific, more or less, and are luckily plentiful enough in most locales that you shouldn’t have too much of a problem finding them, but what else do you want for the gun lover in your life?
What follows are our picks for the coolest presents for your gun folks. The links, unless otherwise specified, are via our Amazon Affiliate links, which means your purchase helps to support Bearing Arms and all of our great content.
To do this, we decided to give ourselves a few stipulations. Well, one big one.
Christmas is expensive enough, and if you’ve got kids, you probably want to focus most of your attention on them for obvious reasons. That means the adults don’t get quite as much spent on them, so for our gift guide, we capped the costs at $100. Yes, you can spend a whole lot more if you want, but sometimes the trick is finding cool gifts at a reasonable price.
So, without further ado…
Everyone who carries concealed needs a nice, sturdy belt to help support the weight. This particular one is a nicely made leather belt that’s well respected and meant to take the weight of a handgun on your person. The fact that it looks indistinguishable from a traditional belt is, in my opinion, a major bonus.
After all, if they don’t see the gun and don’t see something that screams “tactical” it’s a very good thing.
At $44.99-$59.99, it’s not exactly cheap, but nothing worth owning ever is.
Every gun person needs a good cleaning kit, and if you’re going to have one, you might as well get one with a little style. Even if the shooter in your life has a cleaning kit, they’ll probably still be thrilled with this bad boy.
At $43.74, it’s actually pretty affordable for what you’re getting.
Unless you just buy the odd box of ammo, you probably need some way to store your ammunition, and at just $4.98, these boxes by Plano are a great value. With this price, you can buy one for every caliber and make range trips that much easier!
Transporting firearms without freaking out the neighbors is a challenge for even the best of us. While some folks like soft side cases, and there’s a case to be made for them, sometimes you want a case for a given gun, and this is a pretty affordable way to make that happen. For $44.98, you can a case that can be adapted for most firearms and even a pistol, magazine, or suppressor.
Some people like their guns being basic and utilitarian. Nothing that doesn’t serve an explicit function.
For some, though, they want a bit of flair and flash with their firearms, and this is an affordable way to get it. These vinyl wraps are designed to fit most AR-15 magazines and come in a variety of designs including the Gadsden Flag, the Punisher logo, a Spartan helmet with “Molon Labe”, and many other options.

Need a stocking stuffer for the gun enthusiast in your life? Then how about a bottle opener.
Oh, it’s not just any bottle opener, though. This one is shaped like the standard AR-15 birdcage flash hider, with a slight difference. It can open bottles.
What more needs to be said.

And at just $20.00, it’s a steal.
Every shooter needs targets, and I’m a sucker for reactive targets since it’s easier to score your hits.
These have the picture of a bad guy pointing a gun at you, which some experts believe will help reaction times in a real life encounter. The fact that the bad guy looks a lot like Zach Galifianakis may be a plus or a minus, depending on your opinion of his work.
For me, it’s a plus.
They come in various sizes ranging from a 10 pack to a 50 count package, and prices vary between $11.99 and $32.99.
Maybe your gun aficionado likes shooting steel. There’s something to be said for it, that’s for sure. The sound of a bullet hitting metal is freaking awesome.
If so, maybe they want their own steel setup? If so, here’s a definite option.

At $99.99, they’re not overly cheap, but it’s a complete set that’s ready to roll as soon as you are.
Maybe you or your shooter prefer more realistic targets that also require you to work with confined target areas. If so, these might be just your speed.
These photo-realistic targets feature hostage-taking bad guys with a pistol to an innocent’s head, forcing you to make your shots count…in a far safer environment than the real thing.
You can snag a 40-pack for just $24.95.
Maybe all this talk of realism has you or your gun buff bummed.
Maybe you know the truth, that all of this is really about the zombie apocalypse. If so, then these targets might be perfect for you.
25 creepy targets featuring zombies in various positions of coming right after you. Remember, it takes a head shot to put ’em down, but at $19.99 for the pack, you can afford to practice.
These are our suggestions, but that’s not to say there isn’t a lot of other awesome things for the gun people in your life. We didn’t touch on things like gun safes and locks, for example, and there’s no mention of new holsters or other accessories, mostly because those are so reliant on individuals and their preferences that almost no gift guide would nail it, so we didn’t try.
What we do want to try and help you find are gifts that will be a hit on Christmas morning!
