Covenant Killer's Manifesto Includes Criticism of Biden's Anti-Gun Push

No one likes to find out they share anything in common with a mass killer. We might accept that we went to the same school or have superficial features in common, but when we get into the deeper issues of what these people believed, no one wants to think a killer is anything like them.

And, to be fair, mostly they're right. Mass killers are insane. I get that people say there aren't connections between these killers and severe mental health issues, but I personally wonder if that's because there simply wasn't a diagnosis, versus nothing being wrong with them. After all, what sane person wants to kill people in job lots?

Still, we all seem to try to frame these people as belonging to the other camp, regardless of what "other camp" might mean.

However, based on the Covenant killer's manifesto, it seems that people like us shared one thing. She wasn't a fan of Biden's gun control proposals.

The Nashville Covenant School killer kept a close eye on President Biden and his "horrible gun plans" in the months before her school shooting rampage, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

...

The 28-year-old also devoted several pages to then-President Biden and his push for tighter gun restrictions. One page provided her warped threats of "Biden's horrible gun plans," which she referred to as an attack on the Second Amendment.

Her hastily scribbled notes argued that without guns, families would become "vulnerable to crimes, drugs, and home infestation."

In another ironic twist, she wrote that Biden had "anti-gun beliefs that are scary (and) dangerous."

Another page, allegedly dated April 3, 2021, found [she] creating multiple lists of bullet points under the heading: "Biden planning to commit horrible gun control plan."

The chilling notes included lines about a "potential ban on selected guns," including "modern assault rifles" like AR-15s. Another subhead revealed "How to keep your guns safe from the Government," and featured "secret gun law loopholes."

Authorities have said the killer was motivated by a desire to achieve fame, and that she was suicidal, which it seems culminated in a desire to go out in a demented blaze of glory.

What we do know, though, is that there was also a whole lot of rage in that girl. That's also clear from the manifesto, which tells us a little something that we should all remember.

These people aren't sane. They're not rational. They're not like us, even if they might echo a few talking points we've shared over the years. That's true regardless of your political affiliation.

They're sick. This girl was so sick that she decided to slaughter children as a way for her name to live on after her. She was apparently such a failure in other aspects of her life that she thought this was the only avenue to achieve that fame. That's not sane. That's not rational. That's not normal.

This is a broken person who is broken to a degree that they often defy political classification, or any other classification.

We'd do well to remember how many are like her and stop naming them anywhere, stop publicizing their name in relation to what they did, maybe mock them as much as possible so that any "fame" they get is as a joke, and quit trying to blame one another for the actions of broken people.

Yeah, I'm telling myself that, too, for the record.
