When it comes to Second Amendment advocacy, I don't think there's ever such a thing as too many opportunities to connect with other advocates from across the nation. The NRA annual meeting is one great opportunity, but it's far from the only one.

Another one is the Gun Rights Policy Conference, which is the Second Amendment Foundation's annual event.

For 2026, we now know where to go if you want to learn about the latest and greatest efforts by the SAF.

From a press release:

The Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC) planning committee is pleased to announce the 41st annual conference will take place Sept. 25 – 27 in Dallas at the Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport hotel.

For more than four decades, GRPC has been the go-to event for Second Amendment advocates, bringing together the nation’s top 2A attorneys, activists and industry leaders to strategize and strengthen our fight for freedom.

“Now in its 41st year, GRPC has evolved to become one of the most in-depth educational conferences focused on the Second Amendment in the nation,” said Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) Executive Director Adam Kraut. “The conference packs a wealth of knowledge in two days of presentations from some of the top names in Second Amendment advocacy. The planning committee will continue working to put together a great agenda that will educate, entertain and rejuvenate attendees, and we look forward to another great event this year.”

Co-hosted by SAF and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, last year’s GRPC speakers included special operations veteran Christian Craighead; author and Ruby Ridge siege survivor Sara Weaver; Guns & Gadgets YouTube Channel host Jared Yanis; award-winning Second Amendment columnist for Breitbart News AWR Hawkins; President, CEO and Owner of A Girl & A Gun Robyn Sandoval, and many more.

“I started GRPC as a means to bring together some of the top Second Amendment advocates, attorneys and scholars to discuss and strategize about how to forward the movement,” said SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb. “Since then, the event has blossomed to include speakers from every facet of the 2A space including politicians, podcasters, veterans and influencers. The goal of the event, however, remains the same as it was 41 years ago – to educate the public about the current state of the Second Amendment and how each of us can fight to ensure our right to keep and bear arms remains intact.”

The reality is that we need these events. We need to seize every opportunity we possibly can to connect with other defenders of our right to keep and bear arms. It's vital we do so. It helps us see what others are saying, doing, and acting on to protect our rights, and allows us the opportunity to connect with these people for meaningful networking opportunities going forward.

Think about last year, for a moment. Jared Yanis is a friend of mine, whom I met at the 2A Freedom Fest in Florida in 2024. Before then, he was just a face on YouTube. Now, he's someone I can connect with and share with via text message, email, or whatever. If he needs a connection I have, I can make the introduction, and vice versa. We can work together. As Jared has said to me, "Same team, same fight."

That's just one example out of many, and anyone can make those kinds of connections. We are all in the same fight, and it's important that we find our allies, and not just in concept, but as people.

If you can possibly make it to GRPC this year, I encourage you to do so. Go, mingle, meet your brothers- and sisters-in-arms in the fight to protect the Second Amendment.

Editor's Note: The mainstream media continues to lie about gun owners and the Second Amendment, which is why it's so important to make real-world connections with other 2A advocates.
