Since Guns.com covered Second Amendment news, some might see them as something of a competitor, even if they also sell firearms. That's probably a fair assessment, but I don't see anyone as a competitor in this field. We're all in the same fight, and one of those fights has to be working toward good mental health.
Most so-called gun deaths aren't homicides, but suicides. If we meaningfully reduce those, not only do we save lives, but we also depower the whole "gun death" statistic.
So yeah, I'm going to promote something at Guns.com. It's worth it.

NAA makes some good-looking guns if you're into smaller-caliber revolvers. These particular ones are gorgeous examples of firearms, even beyond the fact that NAA makes some pretty little pistols.
Plus, we're talking about helping Walk The Talk America, which is the only mental wellness organization I'm aware of that not only doesn't push gun control as a solution, but is actively made up of pro-gun voices.
They're the ones working toward a world with fewer suicides and not pretending that the solution just happens to be gun control, which is also the supposed solution for homicides, armed robbery, hair loss, erectile dysfunction, climate change, and the capital of Brazil.

In a just world, we wouldn't need to frame WTTA's mission as anything but a method of addressing mental health. Instead, we need to consider the political ramifications because, frankly, the other side does. A donation to WTTA isn't just donating to a good cause. It's donating to the fight for our right to keep and bear arms.
