An Alabama man was home with his dog when 20-year-old Glenn Phillips kicked in his door and entered. The dog cornered Phillips, which gave the homeowner enough time to get his shotgun and call the police.

The homeowner held the suspected burglar at gunpoint until police arrived and arrested Phillips, who was unarmed.

Deputies booked Phillips on a burglary charge.
