First things first, I have to make a confession: I’ve never been to a five-day Rifleman’s Boot Camp (RBC). My experience with the Appleseed Project has been through the “normal” weekend-long Appleseed clinics. They left a big enough impression on me that I became a volunteer with the program.

The Rifleman’s Boot Camp running from August 25- 30 in Ramseur, NC, goes beyond the basics of a weekend clinic to delve much deeper into the craft of rifle marksmanship using a loop sling, and gives shooters more time to master basic techniques and then apply them on a 500-yard known-distance range with static, moving, and pop-up targets.
