WATCH: Young Girl Learns How To Shoot Her First Rifle

Gun control groups and anti-gunners are very quick to say children should never, under any circumstances, be around firearms. Remember that crazy Moms Demand Action campaign, “Guns don’t kill people, toddlers kill people?”  Yeah. We debunked that very quickly.

In fact, recent statistics show that firearms related incidents involving children have plummeted 74% in the past 20 years. Guns are involved in less than 1.5 percent of unintentional fatalities among children 14 years of age and under.

One dad took his daughter to the gun range to teach her how to shoot a custom bolt-action rifle.

And the best part? She hit her target, not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR times. You know every gun control advocate out there is freaking out just watching this.

This video is a prime example of why Second Amendment advocates, like myself, believe that exposing kids to firearms from a young age is actually a great thing for them in the long run. Having the early exposure teaches them to respect a firearm and to know that a gun is a not a toy.

This, my friends, is what safe, responsible gun ownership looks like. And I’m sure this will be one of this little girl’s favorite memories with her dad. I know going to the gun range is one of mine.
