Frankly, I’d be interested at throwing the Ohio Ordnance HCAR in the mix.
If it’s as reliable as their testing seems to indicate, I’d prefer a 30-round .30-06 over a 20-round .308.
I’d also want to spend more time in the gym. Eve though it is almost half the weight of the BAR, the HCAR rolls into action at a beefy 12 pounds.
