Naked California Man Shot in Face By Elderly Man in Arizona

According to The Daily Courier, a 72-year-old woman saw the naked man, identified by Mohave County Sheriff’s officials as 25-year-old Joshua Daniel Reza of Needles, CA, approaching her home after the power went out. Her 86-year-old boyfriend had left her alone to go check the electrical box.

The woman commanded the naked man to leave, but he ignored her demands and continued walking toward her. Eventually, the elderly woman’s boyfriend returned with a gun in hand.

The boyfriend fired off several warning shots, but Reza, who never spoke a word, kept approaching the couple. The boyfriend finally took aim, shooting the trespasser right in the face.

According to officials, Reza was later found stumbling naked and bleeding along the road. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas and is reportedly in fair condition.

Investigators are still trying to determine why the man was wandering around Arizona naked, and what his intentions with the elderly couple were. The .22 caliber revolver the women’s boyfriend used has also been confiscated and placed in evidence.

The incident is still under investigation.
