According to the FBI, a total of 12,601,102 checks were run in the first six months of 2017. Last year saw a record 27,538,673 checks conducted and while we may only be on pace to break 25 million checks this year, according to industry representatives, current cut-rate deals and manufacturer incentives could spike sales.
