Back in May of last year, I reported on the Kids S.A.F.E. getting a hearty monetary pledge from Vaultek, and I’m pleased to share with readers that the company has renewed its support. The Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation has been training and educating children on firearms since 2016 and without the help of great organizations like Vaultek to support them, they can’t work towards their mission, “ZERO firearm accidents is the only acceptable goal!!®”

The Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation is excited to announce our continued sponsorship from Vaultek Safe Company. This will help support our program in 2024 to continue the important work of protecting children from firearms accidents, through proper education and secure storage. Support from a national leader in the secure storage industry has been, and continues to be,huge for KSF. Vaultek has invested in the future of our country by helping a kids firearm safety organization that is diligently working to protect our country’s most valuable resource, our Children.

The Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation is a 501©3 nonprofit organization, based in Oregon. Since our founding, since our 2016, we have reached over 28,000 kids in 5 states and taught them lifesaving skills on what to do if they ever come across an unsecured firearm. The goal is to empower our youth to make good, safe, decisions if they are ever put in a dangerous situation. Education and secure storage go hand in hand and it is the goal of the foundation to bring awareness to the importance of proper storage when not in direct control of their firearms.

The Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation not only educates kids on what to do if they find an unsecured firearm, but they also have a series of classes that aim to teach basic safety and marksmanship. The organization takes firearm safety training seriously and over the years has worked to come up with adaptive ways so that no child is turned away from the program. This inclusivity was best highlighted when the team came up with both a program and the right hardware, in order to teach a blind child how to handle and shoot a rifle.

Vaultek being a partner with Kids S.A.F.E. only makes sense. Considering the foundation’s goal, responsible firearm storage is important, and Vaultek helps people execute that.

Vaultek is a Florida-based company that has been around for 8 years. They have already established themselves to be an industry leader through their technology and innovations. Vaultek has thrust itself to the forefront with its state-of-the-art products when it comes to public safety. Proper storage protects young children, prevents unauthorized access, and is a viable option to help prevent teen suicide. We look forward to continuing to showcase their products in all of our Kids Firearm Safety 1 classes. We are continuing to endorse Vautek products and they will continue to be the official safe of the Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation. It is our mission to help shape the current culture of fellow responsible gun owners to encourage the importance of education and secure storage. This can be achieved without governmental intervention, just a shift in our mindset and habits.

In their release, the Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation notes they look forward to continuing campaigns via social media to drive home the important topic of gun safety. “Safety is an essential component of responsibly having a gun inside of the home,” they assert.

It is the goal of the Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation to normalize the topic of kids’ firearm safety and secure storage and to present the information positively. This broad approach to safety is for ALL kids, not just the ones with firearms inside of their homes. Sponsors like Vaultek Safe are so important by preventing unauthorized access to firearms. Vaultek is a hero to the next generation, Thank you! ZERO firearm accidents is the only acceptable goal!!®

Personally, I love seeing this connection. I’m actually an owner and user of one of Vaultek’s products and the founder of Kids S.A.F.E. is a colleague who’s grown into becoming a good friend over the years. Having two groups with great reputations in the firearm community come together to serve the Second Amendment is heartwarming and seeing this kind of servitude shows why all the work we do has appreciable meaning.
