Army Sgt. Tony Knouf was a combat cameraman assigned to the “Old Guard” of the Third Infantry Regiment, Fort Myers, Va., and Arlington National Cemetery. On the morning of the Sept. 11 Attacks, Knouf grabbed his camera kit and on foot cut across the Marine camp at Henderson Hall and crossed Route 395 to the Pentagon grounds. Knouf remained at the Pentagon for the next 30 days documenting events.
