I get that not everyone is going to agree with me on guns. They should because I'm right, of course, but they don't see it that way and they have a right to believe as they do.

They have a fundamental right to be wrong.

But they don't have a right to be wrong and not receive criticism, and sometimes they say things so stupid I feel duty-bound to point them out to you so the gun community can join together in mockery.

For example, we have this tweet from the K-12 School Shooting Database X account.

A Chicago high school student was arrested after a Glock 21 pistol was found in his locker.

The gun was stolen in the small town of Henderson, KY 300 miles away.

It was a stolen gun, but the issue is...what? That Kentucky legalized gun thefts? 

Of course, the internet had a field day with it.

But more laws would stop criminal behavior.

Yeah...they really didn't think this one through, did they?

Granted, K-12 School Shooting Database is an account on X that makes Brady's Kris Brown look like a mental giant, so yeah, this is kind of low-hanging fruit, but on the other hand, they actually tried to make it about Kentucky's lack of gun control when it was a stolen gun.

Not one obtained via a straw buy or one that a parent hadn't locked up and the kid took to school. Oh no, this was a gun stolen 300 miles away, illegally trafficked into the city, and then sold to a kid who then took it to school.

And they actually posted that it was stolen because they thought it didn't matter. They really did.

What's more, to a lot of gun control advocates, it doesn't matter. They honestly think that a gun stolen in one state and trafficked to an anti-gun state is a failure of the lack of gun control in the first state, not an example of why gun control won't work in the second. It's delusional thinking, but it's also the way they see it.

Getting ratioed on X is going to convince them of their stupidity.

I mean, maybe they think we should outlaw stealing guns?
