Would-be carjacker in NH gets detailed view of pistol barrel rifling

James Paul’s decision to try to carjack Paul Jensen wasn’t the best idea of his very erratic day:

Paul Jensen was sitting in the driver’s seat of his Ford Taurus in a hospital parking lot in Nashua when police say James Paul suddenly opened up the passenger door.

“As he started to get in, I didn’t have time to think about it, I just reacted, by the time he got in my car, I had my weapon out and pointed at his head,” said Jensen from his home in Nashua today.

The seemingly addled man had already been cited for disorderly conduct earlier in the day, and ripped a sprinkler head out of the ceiling once he was in his jail cell.

Thanks to Mr. Jensen’s restrained use of his concealed weapon, no one came to harm, and Mr. Paul is where he can be evaluated by mental health professionals… a nice jail cell.
