Since everyone in the U.S. already knows “what happened” on November 8th, Hillary Clinton has flown across the pond to promote her new book in the United Kingdom.
Last week, the failed presidential candidate spoke at the 2017 Cheltenham Literature Festival, which was attended by 40 students from nine local schools, as well as students studying journalism at Gloucestershire University.
According to a spokeswoman for the event, one “lucky” student from each school was chosen to meet Hillary and ask her a question before she got on stage. Dafi Griffith, Head Boy at Newent Community School, used the opportunity to ask Mrs. Clinton if she shared former President Obama’s “views to tighten gun control in the USA.”
Of course, Hillary went on to discuss her view on gun-related deaths in the U.S. and made clear her support for stricter gun laws. She never misses an opportunity to politicize tragedies.
We can’t say we are surprised. Perhaps Griffith should’ve asked a less obvious question.
